Opsora is a senior-only Microsoft 365 governance, security, and compliance consultancy for mid-market companies across Europe. We're growing the team and looking for experts who can own their work end to end - fully remote, no travel.
Senior Microsoft 365 System Engineer (m/f/d)
Opsora keeps Microsoft 365 environments secure, well-governed, and audit-ready for European mid-market companies (roughly 100 to 1,500 users). We are senior-led: the architect who scopes the work is the one who delivers it. Every engagement has clear phases, a documented handover, and a client team that can run the environment afterward. No lock-in: clients can always run what we deliver themselves.
We are growing the senior delivery team to take on more high-stakes projects. You will own most of the hands-on delivery.
Work at the frontier, not behind it.
We use AI across our own work: Langdock for research, writing, workflow automation, and connecting our tools; Claude where specialist capability fits, like coding and building automations; Notion for documentation and processes; and Microsoft 365 Copilot where the Microsoft stack fits.
You will use these tools from day one and are expected to build your own AI-powered workflows over time.
For clients, we lead with Langdock as the EU-hosted, GDPR-compliant enterprise AI platform - the same governance-first discipline we apply internally.
Opsora runs lean and modern. You will stay ahead of the tools, not catch up to them.
The role
This is project work, not operations - no daily ticket queue, no 1st level support, no on-call. You take projects end to end and hand over documentation a client team can run from. Typical work:
- Carve-outs and migrations: tenant-to-tenant, on-prem to cloud, and Active Directory to Entra ID, often under tight deadlines and across borders.
- Zero Trust: identity, Conditional Access, Entra Private/Internet Access, device compliance, and segmentation.
- AI readiness: data classification, oversharing remediation, and the governance that makes AI tools - Microsoft Copilot, Langdock, and others - safe to roll out.
- Governance and hardening: tenant security baselines, DLP, retention, and NIS2 compliance work.
You configure and harden Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Defender, and Purview - with the judgment to know what a change affects before you make it - and you run the client workshops and calls that scope the work.
What you bring
- Deep, hands-on Microsoft 365 experience across multiple workloads - you can harden a full tenant safely
- Strong grasp of identity (Entra ID), security, compliance, and migration tooling
- The judgment to own outcomes and work with little oversight
- Curiosity and fast learning - we care more about how you think and adapt than about a fixed list of tools
- Comfortable in English for client work - our DACH clients often operate internationally with English as their working language. German is a strong plus for direct relationships, not a hard requirement.
- Microsoft certifications are welcome (for example MS-102, SC-300, SC-401)
- Based in and authorized to work in the EU/EEA - applications from outside cannot be considered
